Content Server administration and data archiving

Hello Gurus,

I have a content server (max db instance) to store the data from the data archiving(SARA) .

How can I establish connection between these two.

I am new to content server administration ..I have through d docs from help.sap ...but im a bit more not clear about the process..

In cs admin we define the content repositories(created in OAC0) and here we hav 4 methods for defining it.

Actually administrating means are we keeping track of the repository's status(running,defined,stooped,error).

What is the word administration refer over here in this context.
