I have a question around Countries in mySAP Systems (global country parameters).
We have Packing List associated with deliveries. Our sending country in Finland (FI) and for domestic shipments the customer country is also FI. Also for export shipments its countries like BE, FR etc.
Now what I notice is that when I print the BE what comes as the last line in the form is B - postal code city etc. Now this is confusing for the warehouse folks since they cant see the country where the products are being shipped. So I changed the Vehicle Country to BE so that it prints like BE - XXXX XXXXX.
This resolves the issue and I get the correct print.
Now my 1st question is that will thins change impact anything else downstream?? as SAP says - "The vehicle country code is a standard key worldwide.
The key is therefore used as a basis for accessing country-specific check routines. Furthermore, it can also be used as a supplement to the postal code"
My second question is what if I want to actually print the whole country name at the bottom instead of the just the abbreviations?
I did play with the Print country name flag in the same T005 but that did not give me the desired results.
Anybody who has experience in the FM "ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM" please advise what I can do.
